Fly-Fishing Trips

The White Dog Trail Company provides guided fly-fishing trips for trout on the West Canada Creek and bass, walleyes and pike on the Mohawk and Susquehanna Rivers.

Central New York and the Southern Adirondacks provide great fly fishing for brown trout on the West and East Canada Creeks, the Black River and other smaller streams.

Good hatches begin with the Hendrickson’s in late April and end with tremendous White Fly hatches in late August through early October. All of these streams are wade able. We   provide guided float trips on the West Canada. The upper sections of these streams and their tributaries provide decent brook trout fishing as well.

Fly fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye and carp are available on our Mohawk River float trips.  See Float-Fishing page for details.
